Ways to Fundraise

You choose how you take part — walk, swim, cycle, host an event or bring people together in honour of someone special. Every step raises awareness. Every dollar supports families navigating MSA.

Go for a Walk

There are so many ways to take part in Moving Momments for MSA, and you can choose whatever suits you best. You might walk 5km or 50km across the month, run, cycle, swim or hike, or set yourself a personal fitness challenge. Others may prefer to bring people together — host a sporting match, organise a trivia or movie night, or share a dinner in honour or memory of someone special.

There’s no minimum fitness level and no pressure to perform. Moving for MSA is about participation, connection and awareness. However you choose to move, your efforts help support people living with MSA and the families walking alongside them.

How it works

1. Register

Set up your personal fundraising page in a few minutes.
You can personalise it with photos, your story and why you’re supporting MSA.

Your page automatically collects donations and sends them directly to MSAA.

2. Share

After creating your page, you’ll receive a personal donation link. You can:
• add it to your Instagram or Facebook bio
• post it to your socials
• send it to friends and family
• include it in emails or group chats

Every share helps spread awareness of MSA.

3. Fundraise

Now it’s time to bring your plan to life throughout March.Organise your activity, gather your friends, family or community and start moving. Whether it’s a walk, challenge, social event or team activity, every effort helps raise awareness and support for people living with Multiple System Atrophy.

Why It matters

Behind every step is a story.

A diagnosis that changed everything. A family holding tight. A community refusing to look away.

Moving for MSA is how we show up — for the people we love, and for the ones we've never met but understand completely.

Join thousands moving across Australia this March. Together, we don't face MSA alone.

Changing the Story of MSA in Australia

Multiple System Atrophy is rare, complex, and often misunderstood. Too many people experience delayed diagnosis, limited resources, and a lack of coordinated support — especially outside major cities.

MSA Australia exists to change that.

We are committed to building a stronger, more connected MSA community across Australia through support, education, advocacy, and awareness — grounded in real experience and genuine care.
